About Us

Welcome to my website.I've spent many years traveling America, Home of the Brave, Land of the Free. There are few places in this Great Country that I haven't seen, one time or another. There is beauty of different sorts everywhere. However,some are objects of loveliness far beyond anything else. Thus,The Great Smoky Mountains.

I chose The Smokies as a website,partly because of their Splendor, and Gracefulness,and my love for their God given beauty and Heavenly atmosphere, but, I must give my son, Jeff Scot Phillips, the kings portion of credit, because it is his talent as a computer whiz, and ability to put this together, pictures, graphics, you name it, he made it possible for me, a very proud dad.

My wonderful, lovely,and faithful wife Patricia,and myself, have four children we're very proud of and seven grandchildren which we help spoil. We live in a small mountain town of West Jefferson, NC and pastor a small country church called Maranatha Full Gospel Fellowship.

My sincere wish and desire is that this website will give you the information you're seeking and that it will cause you to come visit again and again, and in fact, even bring you to a place in your life that you can not depart, therefore,you'll move to "Gods Country, The Great Smoky Mountains."

May God reveil to you a bit of Heaven here, and at the end of Life's journey,help you to prepare for that land where we'll never grow old.
